Black or Blonde?

Today while I was meeting with one of my small groups, the following conversation occurred:

Boy:  (speaking to me)  Are you black or blonde?
Me:  WHAT?  (My hair???)
Boy:  Are you black?
Me:  Do you mean my skin?
Boy:  I can't tell if you're black.

So we proceeded to compare arms and colors.


Boy:  I'm black.
Me:  What about me?
Boy:  You're white.

Good thing we've gotten that straightened out.
